I am looking for a 29" aluminum wheelset with 28mm external width. I been researching the Giant TRX1 and the Specialized Traverse 29. TRX1 is $400 more and only has 28 spokes. I need something that is pretty durable. I weigh about 220lbs. I ride a wide variety of trails from smooth to rocky.

Any other suggestions?

Also, what about the American Classic All Mountain Tubeless. My only concern with the American Classic is the rider weight limit of #235. Would I be ok at 220?

There are many other hand built options that would fit into your budget and requirements.
