I've got a DHX 4.0 Air on my custom Reign. I haven't been able to tune it to my liking and am constantly bottoming out. The shock is maxed out on psi in both chambers. still too soft. Therefore, I'm thinking of swapping it out for a DHX Coil. Anyone out there have their Reign setup that way? What size shock fits the Reign?:madman: :madman:

I was having that problem too when I first got my Reign 1. Make sure you have set the rebound(kinda hidden). I'm 175 lbs and am running 200 in the main and 150 in the pp and am able to do 3' drops without a problem.

The Reign and the DHX-A is not the best setup you could go for. A DHX-C would likely be better, as would the RP23.

I have just change my 2008 Reign over to a X-Fusion 02 PVA, it feels more lively than the RP23 that it replaced. Realistically, you don't notice the 02 PVA on the trail, whereas the RP23 sometime would have quite a dead feeling.

I did ride a 2010 Reign demo with a RP2, and a 2010 Reign X with a DHX-A and always wanted more from the shock. It either felt too firm and harsh or a little too soft. It's too bad that Manitou still uses 12mm hardware as the ISX-6 would be a perfect shock on the Reign or Reign X.
