From searching the forums, it appears that the newer Anthem X frames have no issues with the 156mm q factor on SRAM XX cranks. Would this hold true for the older Anthem design? Or has there been significant redesign on the rear triangle? I know that the new carbon SL had some redesign carried out to it's rear triangle to better fit the XX solution. Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks for the reply Zachariah...I was actually looking to put the new XTR 'race' m985 cranks on my 2007 Anthem. There is very little info out there regarding the new XTR stuff, but from what I have read so far, the general consensus is that it has a Q factor of somewhere between 156 & 158mm...I was really wondering if this config would fit on my bike.

Then I stumbled across this thread: http://www.cyclingnewsasia.com/en/tech/37-general/813-tech-shimano-dyna-sys-xtr-camp-part-2

In it, testing for the new XTR race cranks was being carried out onboard an old school Anthem...so I guess I am good to go

...now if only I could pull together the funds...
