I am seriously considering buying a 2004 AC 2. I have been at the local dealer and have been test riding the trek liquid 25 and giant VT 2 to get a feel of the fs since there are no AC bikes are available to test ride. I have to admit, these bike are totally awesome. The dealer seems to favor the VT 2 over the liquid and since there is no AC to test ride or even see, it is kind of hard to determine if the AC is best for me. I am 6'3" and weigh 200. I am an extremely powerful rider who wants to have the option to take big jumps if the opportunity is there, yet be able climb and enjoy various trails I may encounter. Does anyone know the weight difference between the VT 2 and AC 2? Another concern I have is that the largest frame size for the AC is 19". I am 6'3" and am used to riding a 21.5" frame. Will the 19" frame work for my height? Thanks!

Dude.. I'm not an AC expert but if you are 6.3 no Q.'s about it go 19".
Ride on.

I'm 6'-0" 190lbs and can pull the rivits right out of a bicycle chain.

I'm riding comfortably on an 18" AC with a 50mm (shorty) stem and with only 5" of seat post showing. I like to ride BMX style most all the time, you know stand up and crank it, butt over the rear tire. When I pull the seat post up to XC postition there's more than enough frame.

Get the 19" AC. With the seat up and the stock 90mm stem you'll love it.

Check Performance for cheap Giant prices.
