Thanks. I can get the solid axle and track nuts from my LBS, but my question was more whether it's convertable to a solid axle - some hubs are (i.e., Shimano) and some are not (i.e., King). Don't know about the Bonty hub, hence the question. I have heard, though, that most traditional cup and cone hubs are convertable.

The only caution i know of..

Is that the thread pitch may differ between the existing axle and the solid axle resulting in excellerated wear of the cones and bearings..

The Bonty hub uses a 10x1 thread (at least that's what their website says).

I'm going to make an attemp to put a Hone rear derailleur on my Rig as soon as my axle arrives at the shop.

It is. You need to buy the solid axle replacement kit and it will work fine. The hub is the same and it is a pretty simple change.

Check that the threads on one side are not left hand threaded. I only say this because my Bontrager road rear wheel was this way.
