You lucky fool, and i'm stuck here in wisconsin with 6 inches of snow and single digit temperatures. A sweet ride also. But a not so good beer. At least the brew in wisconsin is much better! Corona, the rich man's budlight...

Modjeska and Santiago Peaks...aka Saddleback. Last year we had snow up there, and I remember riding up one night in February....man was that cold. I loved the way the lights reflected off the pristine white snow....something of a rarity for us SoCal riders.

Threw back some McSorley's B&T's tonight watching the snow fall down.... Anymore, my bottle cage is stocked with hot chocolate or Bailey's (or both.)

four months and counting...

Been up there plenty of times freezing my butt off... snow usually hangs around on the back side for many days... then turns to ice... and that's when the fun begins watching SoCal riders fall all over themselves trying to negotiate the ice patches. Och!

The operable words here are that we ride back down into the warm sunny SoCal weather.

Yep

I was one of them goofs. Trying to ride in that ice/snow was an experience. I really can't see how they do that (ride a bike) in the winter.

Indeed Corona when we tripped to Baja was th cheapest of the cheap a couple decades ago, luckily in CA we have quality brews, sierra nevada and a multitude of BETTER micros too. But riding here is so epic now after a few light rains its off the scale tacky an fast with all climbs now cake ;)
