I'm thinking of using the Chris King SS hub on a SS cyclocross build and was wondering how they hold up in the mud. Has anybody used these in muddy conditions?

IMHO the King hub....

is probably one of the BEST sealed hubs on the market. Just maintain them and they'll last a LONG time, mud or no.

Yes CK's do hold up well in the mud and are easy to service.!

The biggest problem I have is that the mud covers up the pretty shiny blue ano hub shell... but the hubs keep going uninterrupted.

I have 6 years on a set of Kings now in muddy coastal Alaska. Wet, goopy, soup. Zero issues. Fantastic hubs. The best seals on the market.
