I bought a 09 Dakota 29 size Large. I was wondering if there was a run of frames that didn't have the right geometry. The specs claim a 73 degree seattube, yet it seems like my seatube is steeper than that. Even with the reba out at the 100 setting, my seat tube is noticably steeper than the other 29ers with the same claimed geo spec. I climb on friends bikes that claim a 73 seat tube, and it feels and looks more laid back. I'm only 6'2", so while I'm on the upper end of the Large sizing, I'm not too big. To get good pedal setup, the seat is pushed back on the already offset post. Whereas I climb on friends bikes with VERY similar claimed specs and sizing, and the post clamp is nicely in the middle of the rails and feels great. Is it me, or the bike? I just feel like something is off here, but I can't figure out where. Any ideas?
