I am looking into a new bike. My last bike was cheep and when the cranks were flat the front tike would hit the pedal. Will this happen on high end bikelike the Kona Stuff or especaly the GIANT STP
on the stp vcanb you run the front brake cable through the head tube and have the brake still work?
on my cheep bike if you did it would skrew up the brake it was a rim brake

I have a 07 STP....no the pedal/crank will not hit the front tire, yes you can run a bash-guard but it comes with a Truvative chain guide so you would have to run a Truvative bash-guard. If you want a E-13 you have to use there chain guide as well. As far as the cable, I'm sure it's possible but not with the stock set up.
