I was skimming through the Dec issue of MBA and came across a pic of a new Fisher with a steel frame and an EBB, I think it's called the Ferrous, no mention of it on the Fisher website. Anybody else heard of this one? Is it going to be a 29er?

"No industry secrets to let out. They released the line last night. The Ferrous is a steel, EBB, 26" rig. Comes complete w/gears, or you can buy frameset w/rigid fork.

26"er. It wasn't Gary's idea. May or may not happen, may or may not end up having that name. There's a British builder using that name for his steel SS frames.
It's old news, MBA could have mentioned it in their Oct issue, as the bike was shown to the world in August already.

Sorry about bringing up old news

oops.. Still as far as MBA showing it, I was surprised to see anything in there about a single speed, I'd have been less surprised had it been a dual suspension 6 in travel single speed but there ya go, it's MBA, if it's not a motorcycle without an engine they don't seem to be to interested.
