ATB Tubulars are going to come back around. Thanks for the great content lately Jeff.

Yeah, there is very little "new" in the industry. It is always fun looking at the old 1890's- 1910's stuff and seeing trail-a-bikes, "biopace", clipless pedals, straight pull spokes, tubular tires, dual suspension..........

Agreed.

Hey, look at that top one. I was just talking about how my first ever MTB had them, and I've never seen them elsewhere. Cool stuff, thanks Jeff!

I got to put a few hours on one of the tubular sets back in NH; what an awesome setup.

Did ya'll know that tubeless rims & tires were available in Europe in the mid 1990's, way before UST.

Stan of Notubes.com was doing tubeless long before UST, is this what you mean? I don't know of anyone using standard tires without tubes before him...

It worked really well, but was a bit of a hassle to get everything sealed on the existing available rims and tires, but once set up worked well and was light and fast. He had the recipe for the sealant and full directions up on a website.

Not talking about running a tube designed tire without a tube.

SNt product was designed for people without UST rims to install UST tires correctly.
SNt product came after Mavic released UST in the US.
In Europe, there was tubeless before Mavic designed UST, by about 5 years.
