Hey..............I am in the market for a new bike. I would greatly appreciate some input. In the past I rode a Specialized Stumpjumper......loved it but sold it over the winter. I am now living in Portland, Oregon. I am in the market for a bike that will cruise both street and trails efficiently. I am not a hard core mountain bike rider but want something to hold up on the trails and also a bike that respond well on the road. The bike shops I am dealing with are suggesting the Gary Fisher Dual Sport 229. I have test drove it multiple times and love it. I can get in on a 2004 for around $700. If anyone has input on Gary Fisher...............ideally the Dual Sport 229 I would greatly appreciate it. Suggestions/Input on other bikes are welcome!
