How big is the internal memory on the Edge 705?
I'm gonna do a solo 24hr this year and would like to measure it all on my Garmin. Can it take all that info? The course I'm doing is usually about 50mins - 1 hr per lap. Id like to use the Lap facility and the pace mode on the Garmin. Can it store all that detail?
I know you can fit a mini SD card.
Has anyone done this before?

You will have to do something to extend the battery life. It won't last that long.

Sorry, missed that part, not enough coffee. I use one of these.

You can replace batteries in it, so it will go as long as you have fresh batteries.

Theres about 512 internal memory.

I've had 8 months worth of rides in my Garmin before it finally ran out of memory, so it can definitely do a 24 solo. As long has you have the battery situation figured out.
