Rotwild it is...

And yes, it is the bike that is shown. Gareth's bike has a 66RC up front though instead of the 36 in that picture.

Rotwild is a German company, they are thinking of bringing their bikes to the states in the near future. 1.5 headtube, adjustable travel, they aren't bad looking trail bikes. Very expensive though, not sure if its worth it for that reason. I tried to get one, but I couldn't set up anything to get the bike sent to the states. So I got my Karpiel instead. :)

Cheers,

Gareth got a really good deal with Rotwild , something like 80K euro to ride for them per year , and he got a new Fiat , but since they don't pass smog for either here or Canada he has to keep it in Eurpoe ............ WACK

Guess you guys havent seen the hardtail he's riding this year either .
IT HAS A BASHGUARD aukkkkkkk

Why must freestyle MTB's go through the same evolution that bmx bikes went through ?
Didn't we learn anything from having to ride crappy bashguard bikes like the old haro masters and bully's ? Bashguards suck ! Just learn how to grind the right way .

Here's a pic , I must now go vomit ........ I hate ulgy boat ancor bikes

I'd been wondering what that bike was in the Marz ad in a recent issue of Decline. Honestly, I thought it was some old beater Performance FS (M206?) bike, it seemed kind of strange that Marz would have a rider ripping down Whistler on some old POS with a nice new 66 on it for their ad.

That thing is hideous.

Rotwild info

Some background information for you guys, Rotwild is a german bike manufacturer since 1996. They are into the freeride/downhill game since 1998 and I personally ride their bikes since then. Gareths bike is a RFR 06 with an on the fly adjustable head angle from roughly 65% to 69% and an adjustable rear travel from 150mm up to 180mm. It is also capable for bigger shocks and up to > 200 mm of travel. It has an integrated headseat with the opportunity to ride 1.5 or 1.1/8 forks and a 150mm thruaxle swingarm. The ugly tubeset is the so called channel tubing which makes the frame stiff but also relatively light. The bike is very versatile due to the adjustment opportunities, you can ride it uphill or use it as a trailbike but also bomb down the steepest trails in the alps. The bike has a lot of more technical details and is full of german engineering, also it has a special paint & decals which are specific for rotwild bikes. I agree the photo looks ugly, but the bike looks better in reality.

Adjustable on the fly 65% headangle? I'd love to have one of those!
