Just and FYI. Placed an order for a cassette back in November. Site states 20-30 days for shipping, no problem I can wait. But here's where I draw the line. Never received a confirmation e-mail that the order was received. Setup an account with e-mail and password so was able to log in and see my order. I e-mailed them a couple days after the order was placed with no response. Since than I have e-mailed them multi times, messaged through facebook as well as called with no response. Last night I tried to log into my account and guess what, it no longer works!! Either they are on their way out or their customer service is just that bad!!!! Oh and by the way they didn't have a problem with charging my credit card at the time of purchase. Really sucks because they appear to make a pretty nice product.

I hope you are wrong. I placed an order on November 19 and I did get an email receipt At the time. I logged onto the site and the sale order is still there although it is unchanged since Nov 19.

I did read somewhere that they had a ton of orders in the COVID era so they may just be buried (fingers crossed we both get our stuff).

Point of posting is to suggest that the site is functional for me as of now at least … although I will bit a little concerned about not receiving the package Until I actually see it.

I placed an order last June and got the cassette and chainring 5 weeks later. I also got an email confirmation. There's also this disclaimer on their website.

Dear Garbaruk customers,

As you all may know, there are big availability problems with bike parts these days. Most major parts manufacturers are completely out of stock. We have seen the demand growing, but it made a huge jump recently.

While we’re very happy about the big increase in sales, our production just can’t keep up, unfortunately. The amount of orders is absolutely huge, and we aren’t able to do anything about it quickly. Cassettes are impacted the most by this, as their production is complicated and very limited.

Please find the availability information by product category below. We’ll try to update this, so the information stays correct.

Estimated shipping time for new orders:
• Chainrings —15-30 days
• Cassettes — 55-65 days
• Accessories (derailleur cages, pulleys, and other small accessories) — 14-30 days

Please keep this information in mind before making new orders

We’ll update this information as soon as we increase our production capacity.
Quite a bit of political unrest over there. I can't imagine having russian troops massing at the border helps the supply issue any. Anyhow, I've been pleased with the cassette. It might not shift as well as sram or shimano but it's better than e13.

They’re not in Ukraine anymore, they moved to Poland a couple years ago. They’ve just been massively backed up through COVID.

Hi,

I myself bought several items (chainring, cassette, pulley wheels, cage) from them over several years.
Never had any issues and when I wrote them emails they responded really really quickly.
Did write them once via their own order site and that seems not to work at all.

Shipping this summer took about 5 weeks for my order this summer. But that was stated by Garbaruk on the homepage and not unexpected.
My guess is that something went terribly wrong with your order.

Sounds like they are busy, chill out. I've been running their stuff for many years and recently bought stuff in the last 4 months. Emails are slow sometimes and just because they didn't immediately respond to you doesn't mean bad customer service. Myself and many of my friends have had great service. They are just not super fast. You'll be lucky if anything shows up for 12 weeks. No need to get butt hurt.

That's weird. I've previously done business with them with great results. Good communication and timely results on a custom chainring.

Hope your order just slipped through the cracks or something and it's not a more serious sign of something going south.

I've been very patient and did read in advance that they were running behind. Which I'm OK with. But to ignore me for weeks on end is not a good business practice. No one is that busy. Had I at least gotten an email that the order was received and being processed would make me feel better. For all I know they had a glitch in their website and the order was never processed? And they've got my money. Unfortunately I've been trying to reach them for weeks to resolve the problem to no avail.

I've been chilling for 4 weeks for a simple response that the order went through. Not acceptable.

I got my order in about 5 weeks, a friend recently ordered and got his in under 2 weeks.

I'm happy with the cassette and cage/pulleys, the cassette shifts with a little less softly vs SRAM but no issues, the pulleys are smoother vs OEM.

Update. After several weeks with no response I finally received a couple emails apologizing for not responding sooner. Good news cassette was shipped and I received it within 5 days of getting the notice it was shipped. Still not sure on why they never responded but at the end of the day I received the product and it appears to be exactly what I was looking for. Just wanted to follow up as they ultimately made good.

Coincidentally, I also received notification a moment ago that my order placed on Nov 19th had just shipped and should be delivered Dec 22nd
