[Mods-it would be great if someone could sticky this! ]

With so many great MTB videos around, I thought it would be cool to start a gallery thread-a place where we can post (or repost) some of the best videos we find. The gallery can be a place where the best vids are found and a source of inspiration for other videomakers.

I realize that terms like "top" and "best" are subjective (and I'm by no means suggesting that only I'm qualified to judge!)...but I think 99% of us would agree that videos like the ones below fit the description. Maybe once a year we could have an awards contest or something-"The MTBR Oscars" or something like that. :)

With that said, here are 7 great videos (collected from elsewhere on MTBR) to start things off...

18 Road - Fruita, CO by Jonathan Bruneau

I'm sure folks here know of other great vids...so add 'em to the gallery!

Since this is all casual and for fun, I'd suggest we can post vids by anyone...though if we were going to have some kind of annual awards...I'd say we ought to have a few categories-it makes sense to separate the truly "amateur" videos (no-budget vids made by ordinary folks on their own for fun) and "professional" videos made by guys who do it for a living and have big budgets to work with and are being compensated or featured by major product manufacturers. (Yeah, I know the boundary between the two is kinda blurry these days, but you get my drift-it's not exactly fair to compare National Geographic productions with one guy doing it for fun...)

Pretty good for an 11-year-old videographer! Get her to use a tripod...then shorten the video to about half that length...and finally time the cuts to the music, and you'll be stylin'!

You get an "A" for the basic concept though—MTBing on the college campus. Nice to see after a zillion "on the trail" vids...
