Hey guy's, just got a 2004 Giant VT 2 frame w/ a Nixon from a friend, thinking about building it up? Any advise.

I got to have a VT1 for an extended test (about two weeks worth) and really liked the bike a lot. Convinced to try a Swinger air shock and Manitou Minute on my Cannondale Super V to replace the Vanilla coil shock and 80mm Headshock. Really woke that bike up.

But, back to the VT1, the Nixon may be a little tall for the VT1, but I'd give it a shot. It's not a maestro suspension, more like a glorified single pivot, but it's worth putting a modest build onto it IMHO if it's not clapped out.
