I just received new Avid Clean Sweep rotors to replace my wavy Juicy rotors... each Juicy rotor was 116g... the clean sweeps came in at 116g and 118g... excellent!

I was "worried" that I'd be gaining 25g per rotor or something, but not so.

Note that the version of Clean Sweeps I received are the 6 spoke design as shown with the Avid BB Road brakes, not the version with more spokes as shown with the Avid BB7.

In case you're wondering why I did this, read the Brake Time forum regarding the Juicy 7 "stuttering" issue... you probably are already aware of it though if you follow these forums closely.

Hey all: I'm thinking of changing my front from an '05 Juicy 160mm poly rotor to a 185mm. Is the 185mm Clean Sweep rotor the way to go, or should I stick with the 185mm poly rotor? Also, is there a difference between a regular Clean Sweep and a G2 Clean Sweep?

Some people still had problems with the Cleansweep rotor, so Avid came out with the G2 (generation 2). The orientation of the holes is different.

I strongly believe that a lot of the issues can be attributed to improper setup.
