These pictures remind me of my trip to Puerto Plata...although NOBODY there rides a bicycle (I saw one person on a bicycle), and nobody even walks to their destination. I saw so many strange things being carried on the little scooter/moped things that are everywhere. I saw people clutching huge propane tanks, 5 people on the same scooter, baskets of fruit, you name it, they carried it on the scooter, all while doing 50mph weaving thru traffic and blasting through red lights.
I wish I had grabbed some snapshots.
