I've got a major lusting here for a Funk Big Fork in 1" with the 6/4 ti steerer, nearly as bad as my Goat Deluxe fantasy. In sturgeon mode, I discovered a mysteriously titled creature... A footstomping good time, one gloriously overbuilt elevated chainstay Funk ProComp, not unlike the one I regrettably sold last fall:

The seller did note,

"P.S. I am willing to sell the frame less the parts if you know someone interested. Thanks, Gregory"

For a refresher, here was mine...

24 lbs....ouch

Sounds a bit portly for an aluminum frame built with XTR and Ti tidbids.
I mean Breezer and Ritchey put out 21 lb steel bikes with pretty stock builds. Granted they were rigid but that Manitou 1 will only ad 1-1.5lbs to the mix.

Oh yes, that is one sturdy ox. 1.25" HT, & that DT's got to be about 60 thou!

She's a BRICK HOUSE!
