I have not been out for a few days. I fear the thaw has made things a bit soupy.
Anything ok to ride without tearing it up?
I imagine early am, when frozen, the trails would be ok. I would like to head out late afternoon tomorrow if possible.
Thanks for the info,
Dave

I would say afternoon is totally out of the question. Early enough for temps to still be below freezing is really the only option.

thanks, that's what I suspected. I'll play roadie for a while.
I got a pretty good ride in today. From home I headed to the dog park at the end of horsetooth and stayed on the east, limestone ridge of Pine ridge open space. From there kinda just went where it wasn't muddy and ended up at the parking lot behind the stadium without encountering mud. Headed up the road to the top of Maxwell, it looks like that will be a no go for a while so I headed back to the road. Ended up sticking to the road on the way north, the trail off of Michaud ln. looked to be muddy also. I ended up sticking to the road over Bingham hill back to town. Fun ride, but not a whole lot of dirt.
