No. Ceramic bearings in a headset are completely useless. And that's coming from a guy with ceramic bearings in wheels, bb and derailleur pulleys on his mtb.
As for weight savings, buy the new Cane Creek with the upper bushing. There are other lighter options for IS headsets as well. Way better bang for your buck.
