I heard that you can't put these on a MTN bike due to the chainring hitting the chainstay. For my application, I'd like to use it in a single ring configuration up front (the 39 tooth ring). I currently have a single 36 tooth running up front in the middle ring position. From just looking at the bike, it seems to me that a 39 tooth should fit without chainstay contact. Is it possible that the FSA roadie crankset will mount to a MTN bike ISIS BB closer to the frame and cause problems?
