I am reluctantly parting with my amazing 2017 Pivot Firebird Carbon MTB. The geometry (long, low, slack) is thoroughly modern and at speed it is incredibly nimble. The 170mm front and rear travel handles the chunk, drops, and jumps amazingly well. The DW-link rear suspension makes it an extremely good climber. lt has been ridden a handful of times each year I have owned it and is super clean with minimal scratches (I installed protective 3M tape to protect the frame from scratches). I originally purchased to help with my jumping progression but about 2 years ago I have turned more towards trail / XC riding so this bike only gets ridden a few times a year. The bike weighs approximately 31 pounds which is super light for what it is capable of. This is an ideal bike for the aggressive rider who prefers 27.5 wheels and is looking to get a top shelf, boutique branded carbon framed bike with carbon wheels at an amazing price.
