I am going on a bike trp in the last week of April and will be riding for 5 days. What do you think is better Fruita or Durango? I found a lot of information on Fruita/GJ trails but I cannot find much on Durango. Does Durango have a lot of trails? 5 days worth?

Durango is an MTB paradise and site of the first ever MTB Worlds.

But April is a we bit early I might suggest, you could ride the low stuff and into New Mexico and you could ski but you cant hit the high mountains till June/July.

there are tons of trails for both - but your going to find that the epic high country stuff in Durango will hopefully still be snowed in , give GJ a shot

I agree with the other guys here. Durango is world class, but not so much in April.

Durango is SO overated,and the trails aint all that,plus they are crowded
