I couldn't believe it! The house brand front hub that come with my brand new Commencal Meta 5.2 gets heavy fricktion when tightening QR, the front wheel won't even past 3/4 a turn with some spin force ( normally 10+ turns ). I installed it without the brake caliber (so it's free of other obstacle) and I notice the lateral force by QR does increase the lock up effect.

I mail ordered this bike from a Canadian eBay dealer, don't want to send back cross the border and have not heard from Commencal USA yet.
Did anyone here experience the similar problem on front hub:confused: ? any solution/ recommendation?

thanks in advance

Sure the hub bearings aren't too tight?
What do I have to do to make sure? unpack the sealed bearing? please advise.
it rotates well if only loosely put on, but the compresion from QR will increase the friction.
