I have an old full suspension ground control 94 I think.
I took it to the shop today and need new forks.
I don't know much about bikes but, was told it needs 1" forks which are now hard to find plus, it has old style pull brakes any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you sure about that? Specialized stop using the 1 inch size in 1994. Do you have any even older FSR?

As I said don't know much about the bike. Sorry, just used to get on and ride.
I bought it in 96 from a bike shop in Lake Placid NY. It was a rental that had only been used a couple of times. I got a great deal only paid a couple of hundred for it.
Apart from the forks and new pedals everything else is original.
Rode in NY Mass and Montana without any problems till now.
