Hello,

I've just bought a SLX top swing derailleur in front.

When i place it on my Bulls Copperhead bike i't didnt fit, The support of the waterbottle holder is just at the place where i want to fix the derailleur.

When i place it avbove it, its 7mm to high at the biggest ring (44t)

What should i do to let it get to the right height

That's a bottom swing (or traditional) derailleur. If you get a top swing I think it would work... Or an E-mount. It mounts behind the BB. ttyl, Fahn

Agreed....

that is the only solution for your problem, and is why it is always best to go with the type of derailleur clamp that the bike came with. When switching from a low clamp (top swing) front to a high clamp (bottom swing or traditional) derailleur this is bound to happen from time to time.

So as LarryFahn suggested, get yourself a top swing/low clamp front d. That will solve your problem.

now my original Xt with low clamp is instaled.

This comes original with the bike but collects to much mud during biking.

That the reason why i changed it

they are both going to get muddy either way
