Today I rode from Parker the Barkers house in Springfield to near by Beaver Beach near the Willamette rivers junction. The new bike was fun and comfy. The icy roads were very sketchy.

Pics..........

2. Along the Wildish rd near Glenwood.

3. Junction of the Middle fork and the Coast Fork, Mt Pisgah in the background.

4. Part of the Coast Fork and Glass Bar Island.

6. Gate along Seavey Loop rd to Glass Bar Island and the big ponds.

7. One of several Ponds.

8. My rear friction shifter for my four speed cassette, no frt derrailleur.

9. Homemade chain keeper, I shift with my foot kicking off the chain.

Jammies and Meat Sacks

Parker and I sat by this pond for hours, drinking beer and eating meat sacks. Parker let me drink all the beer but he got a meat sack. We rode back to Parkers house. The steets were very slick. My new bike is fun.

Pics........

1. Sittin in my Crazy Creek chair soaking up the rays.

2. Hot meat sacks done to a turn. I like to use spokes for skewers.

3. Dog jammies.

4. Making 12 oz of hot water for some Folgers.

5. Frozen frog stuck in the ice.

6. Beaver Beach and all my stuff. Bikes make good wind breaks.

7. Meat, beer and fire.

8. Parker gettin warm.

9. Sun going down, time to go home. I love my kickstand, I never though I would.

10. Bridge over the Willamette from Glenwood to Springfield, going home.

I like your style. Meat sacks, frozen frogs, another creative use for old tubes and spokes and, um, you're blocking the gate. Thanks

You up (or down) for meat sack pizzas and beer tonight with the gang?

I might wus out because of the ice and black dark. From 32nd to 67th in springfield the streets are dry. Eugene is really iced up. I would love to join you all though.

P.S. See you at the DOD Inter-Galactic Party tonight, Lef-t. C'mon, you know it's worth it. Hey, idea! -- catch a ride with Parker's mom.
