Hi Everyone,

I hope you don't mind me posting on here. I work for IMBIKEMAG looking after their marketing AKA spreading the good word...

IMBIKEMAG is a free to read MTB mag published every two months, you can check out Issue 3 here:

There is loads of technique, tests, great pictures and videos inside. Have a look and let me know what you think, we put a fair bit of work into Issue 3 so I hope you enjoy it!

Cheers

I like the interactivity. Mag-like display but with scrolling, multiple pictures, vids. Looks good!

Bookmarked!
Wow! Really well done! I'm definitely gonna bookmark this.
Just excellent! I can tell a lot of work must have went into this.
Pretty sweet, thank you for the link.

I am sure I'm just behind the times, but that is a pretty impressive layout. It actually makes me question my long held belief that a screen could never replace a printed magazine.

Nice.
great erag! gotta get my manuals down by spring!
I've got one comment : There are 2 volumes (weirdly in different locations...) one for page turn sounds, one for master volume. I don't like the sound effects (page turn, link hover, etc.) but want to keep the video sounds and that is not achievable with these controls. I would replace "page turn" with "sound effects"
Looks like there's some XC stuff in there too. I see one can see issue 1 by slightly altering the URL--I would imagine issue 2 as well. Someday if I get a boring day, I'll check these.
For those of you who are book marking this, you might want to bookmark this address: http://www.imbikemag.com/
Seems you will be able to access the latest issues from here as well as old issues.
Cool, always thought an online mag should have a page turning feature like that...I'll look in now and then for sure.
With the high cost of printing and bike industry advertising becoming ever-more stringent, this here may very well be the wave of the future. I'm not sure if it's just my setup, but it was really slow to load. I'll have to try again later. From what I was able to check out though, really tight.

Its either your connection, or their servers were loaded up at the time.

I don't have a super fast connection and it didn't take long at all for the pages to load. Probably their servers.
Wow! Great photography. I generally completely skip over ads and actually was clicking on these. Very well done. Definite bookmark.
Yea nice pics, but way to much advertising. All the advertising BS that goes along with bike mags is pretty much why I no longer buy them. Yea, yea this one is free which is why I don't understand why 2 out of every 3 pages is a commercial for some company. Dirtrag and Mountain flyer are 2 mags I will still buy. And yes they have pages of ads but there is more content to their Mags and not nearly as much marketing crap.
