Need a CPR certification to keep other certifications (USFS chainsaw cert, National Mountain Bike Patrol, etc) valid? Instead of paying $35 for the class, how about a FREE class? Regional American Red Cross chapters are sponsoring 'CPR Saturday' March 12th. Make sure you sign up for the full CPR class, not the new 'Citizens CPR', which does not meet certification requirements...

The Brevard-area classes are scheduled to start at 8:30 and should be over ~12:30... This is CPR only--no First Aid. Don't have specifics on other chapter schedules...

The women with Buncombe explained that Adult CPR is a 4 hour class from 9:00AM - 1:00PM

Times may be different at different locations but they are probably all 4 hour classes.
