can you mate up a code caliper to a elixer lever set or am i better off using a juicy 7 ?
smashed up my code lever mech and want to fix it by running the caliper with a different lever mech.

I believe you can. I have seen other Avid hybrids.
I have been wanting to do this also and just purchased a used Code 5 to do it but the Code 5 is such a good brake when bled correctly that I haven't felt the need.
