I looked at the FAQs and see the is turned on, but it does not seem to work yet. Boards with no pics are gonna suck. Also, if I don't unclick the thread subscription option each time, am I going to get notified each time there is a response? [Edit: figured out the subscription thing in my user profile- changed my default.]

Thanks. Trying to adapt ;)

it's not working apparently. I'll fix it.

I just activated html so you can use img src= html

For now, the attach image file works.

What did you do to that fender?

Okay first I hope the picture dosen't automatically quote and reprint...

Wait I just saw the reply w/ or w/o quote buttons. Nevermind.

But my question is: I like how you extended the standard Zoke fender. What did you use. (I'd been meaning to ask you about that)

Zoke fender

The stock Zoke fender is a joke. The plastic it comes packaged in is more impressive.

Anyway, I cut a SKS shockboard fender off just behind its mounting plate. I drilled three holes through it; two lining up with the Zoke's own mounting holes, and one in the rear. I put a very low clearance bolt/nut through the rear hole and the standard bolts though the front holes, and just sandwiched the Zoke fender between the shockboard and the fork. The resulting fender is WAY stiffer with better protection in back so dreck doesn't have a clear path from the tire into my eyeballs

Works great.

PS Take it to the Zoke board, Bub!

Here Here - just look how stellar his bike looks in the 5spot thread - all silvery and just super sleek looking - understated classiness I like to call it.

Have you thought more about the flames yet Tscheezy??

I was considering covering it in white fur next...

Yeah, I thought about it, but they sorta go with the rest of my ensemble:

Maybe if I wear my mylar jumpsuit the all-silver would match better...

The Blue Flamer

Normally, I hate that kind of stuff. I've even gone so far as to remove perfectly good factory decals, but I have to say that the blue flames work for me. And calling it the blue flamer is icing on the cake!

I would lose the (er) at the end if you keep the stickers since you have a girlfriend and all Tscheezy. The Blue Flame sounds better to boot.

There was mention of trademark infringement, so I decided not to go with the shorter name. At least I didn't go with "<font color=blue>The Fab Blue Flamerific</font>!"

I was thinking of slamming it, putting welded chain bars on, and having "low boy" sandblasted on the side of the top tube. I have time to think about it before our winter trip.

See ya,

The Blue Flamer ROCKS LOL!!!

TOO FUNNY! "The Blue Flamer" is hilarious. You'll just need to add a few pieces of costume jewelry to your gloves and you'll be all set. "The Fab Blue Flamerific" is too "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy" for me. Hmmm...if flames work for you maybe I should get a set to put on my Heckler and I can call it "The Black and Blue Flamer".

Later on(Thanks for the laugh),
Travis
