Frame / Fork Decals

I remember reading a few threads recently about companies doing custom decal sets and replacement decal sets for frame / forks.... for the life of me I cant find them when searching! Can anyone point me in the right direction.

Im looking to cover up a few worn bits on a frame and stop them taking any more blows so a decal set may well be just the trick.

thanks for posting...I was looking for the same thing!
I asked few times slikgraphics if they will do it from the Vector or any other format, extension that they like to work with, no luck :( They never gave me an answer..maybe they dont wanna send it to the states.. who knows! You can try http://www.hieroglyphfx.com or just go to any banner, sign shop in your area...
I'm getting a set of custom 40 decals made by slikgraphics. If you need them in a hurry though look somewhere else. I got a quick response to my first email but, lets just say its taken about a month to get a design made. I've read some other forums complaining about the response time to emails and the owner Owen responded and says he is overwhelmed with orders. The examples on his site look top notch and people that have them say they are quality decals so we'll see. I'll update when mine get here.
I've bought a decal set for 40 WC, no custom changes. Very quickly postage [they've sent them from UK, and after 5 days I received it, but I live in Poland] and awesome quality.

SlikGraphics will hook you up! Just got my Fluorescent Green 2010 Boxxer decals from them. Super sexy. It took my a while to get mine... Due too Customs, they even offered to re-print and send another set if it took too long.
got mine took about 2 months to get em though but, they're very nice a little grainy but for 35 bucks I can't complain.

Contact JNC (jncarpenter here on MTBR). I had him make the custom decals for my recent old-school Specialized FSR build. I'm sure he could do what you need if you can find the right Vector graphics. For mine, I had to make the vector graphic for the "FSR" since I couldn't find one. The quality of the print work is top notch though. Here's some pics...

Does anyone know who does actual decals (not vinyl stickers)? You know, the kind that are really thin, that you can clear-coat over?
rep_1969 - You need water decals ( Water Slide Decals ) same as you use on scale model planes, cars, etc.. same as vintage bicycles use.. You can make them at home using inkjet printer or search the Google...

Interesting. Never knew you could make your own water slide decals. Anyone know where you can actually buy that water slide decal paper other than from online sellers? Any stores sell that stuff? Btw...if you're looking at making these decals and need to have white in the decal you won't be able to print it with a inkjet or laser printer. Have to use an ALPS printer, which not too man people probably have...
