Frame decisions….Help Please

...any suggestions?

A. Go to LBS and purchase sweet IF EBB. Correct size, periwinkle blue, rigid and complete build is 22 pounds. Periwinkle would not be my 1st ,2nd or 3rd choice in color.

- or -

B. Take my chances on the on/off company formerly known as Jericho. The Jericho with glow in the dark powder coat has been on my wish list for a long time.

Either bike would be upgraded to a Fox shock....Fx80 or TALAS ??

Thanks Eric

P.S. I already have a 29 SS Karate Monkey at 23 pounds. The new frame will have to have some bling factor.

go with IF

IF=no wait time for frame to be built...have it custom powdercoated, either at spectrum , or contact the guys ar IF, get it a bling color, find jericho's painter, have them do the IF. Either way, custom frames from inconsistent comnpanies take a long time and often frustration ensues whereas painting usually is pretty quick.

A. IF all the way. and when the paint gets tired have it repainted.
dont know much about the forks, but i would go f80x

and i envy your decision!
go with the IF, which LBS did you find it at?
TommyO's in Phoenix

We had previously discussed ordering a custom IF 29er. Before the deposit was put down, I managed to wreck the wife's car. I ended up using the bike funds for deductible, light pole and generally not pissing her off any more by getting a new bike out of the deal.

Well October was last year and Tommy had recently ordered a SS IF for a customer. Transaction details unbeknown to me, the IF is now for sale.

My only reservations would be the color and it's not a 29er. Since tires and forks are really lacking for 29er's I may re-join the 26er crowd.

Thanks Eric
