Hey guys, I'm wanting to do some awesome FR/DH and am willing to travel to go to a sick place. Any ideas besides Snowshoe and Sugar?

^^ Awesome. :D

To the OP - you should come up to Beech Mountain this weekend! I have the feeling it will be a pretty big race. If you don't want to race you can ride the course all weekend and just have fun.

Windrock. About 20 miles from Knoxville, TN.
There are about 10 to 15 DH trails, with a vertical drop of 2,200 ft.elevation (although the very top is closed currently, so runs will be from about 1,900 or 2,000ft. vertical drop.)
Plan to hook up your own shuttle, but there are usually several trucks running shuttles on the weekend. You would need to a guide for the first few runs to figure out where to go, but there are plenty of locals willing to show you around for a ride to the top.

Does not compute.
Is this some kind of condition that you can come down with?
If so, I hope I never catch it.:cornut:

Ha, to the OP.
Come to Beech this weekend or go to Windrock anytime.
Come on down to WR and give it a go. Super fun place and great technical trails. Hey Mater, come on over Kville and we will show you some supa gnar gnar.
