So today I had my fork (Fox Vanilla) off my bike and I had it laying on the floor. Well my hacksaw was on the table and I knocked it off the table and it hit the steerer tube and left a decent gash in it. It wasnt really deep but if you run your finger nail over it you can feel it cut into it slightly. I was just wondering if I should be concerned about it at all. Where its at is where about the middle of the stem. I personally dont think it will be an issue but I wanted to see what you guys thought.

It will be fine. There is not a lot of stress at that part of the steer tube.
