I have a 2004 Float 100mm fork. I was looking at the travel of my fork cause I don't get all and tought to look inside to see if there was a spacer inside... silly tought jeje but who knows..
Know I want to change the oil since is 1 year old and my question is: in the manual there are 2 tipes of oil? are the Fox suspension fluid and the Fox Float fluid the same?????
Can I use just the Float fluid (I have the 8 oz bottle)????
What weight is this Fox oil???
Thanks dudes!!!!!

The oil types are very different. The Float Fluid is heavy weight gear oil (80wt) used to seal the air chamber and you only need a tiny bit (5cc). The Fox Suspension Fluid is about 7wt and used for damping and lubrication. I've used Maxima 125/150 (7wt) synthetic fork fluid in Fox Forx and it's worked fine. Others have had good luck with the Marzocchi/Golden Spectro 125/150 oil.
