Fox G2 on a Niner EMD?

I'm picking up my medium EMD frame tomorrow from my lbs. Right now I have a Fisher X-caliber with the Fox G2 fork. I will be getting a Reba fork in the coming weeks. Will the G2 fork work on the EMD frame until I can get the Reba? What will the G2 geometry do to the ride of the EMD?

already bought a non-g2 fork. decided i didnt even wanna mess with it

My EMD has a 2010 FIT RLC fox fork 100mm and I think I like the feel of my white Bros 80mm on my one nine niner better....
