Does anyone here use home made travel spacers for their Float Forx? If so what do you use and how well do they work? I am thinking of getting a Float 130 and will most likely wanting about 110 to 115mm. out of it , to dial in my head angle. I know just buy the Talus , but I am a set it and forget it type. Also the price and the ability to work on the fork myself is more attractive.

There is another thread on this a while back if you search. I cut the middle out of the spacer on the fox float I have and made the spacer 10mm tall. With a small hacksaw and a file you can make it any height you want. If you want to experimnent a bunch you would probably want to go with another solution as the fox spacers might get expensive if you need more than one.

100 to 80 spacer

How about a 100 to 80 mm spacer that comes with the 100 mm Floats. It is 20 mm long and should convert your 130 mm to 110 mm nicely and should be easy to find seeing most riders leave their's in the 100 mm position.
