Hey suspension gurus,
I'm 165 lbs (ish) and I have two fox forks: F-Series 100mm and Float RLC 130, both 32mm. Typical use is XC/Trail. Upon setup of both bikes, I found the Fox recommended air pressure to be about 20 psi too low for my weight. On both forks I recall Fox recommending about 75 psi however that was seriously way too soft. Riding on the road I could easily suck up the full travel. On both forks I have added about 20 psi each.

I'm wondering if others have noticed this? The Float RLC is an old but new to me fork, so maybe it needs more fluid?!

Experience and thoughts are appreciated.

I have a 2011 32mm F100RLC and run 50psi to get full travel. I weigh 140 lbs. Fox recommends 60 lbs, so I am actually running lower than recommended psi right now. The shock is new however. After break-in, I might need to up the pressure a bit.

Sucking up full travel on the road doesn't sound good, even with low speed compression wide-open. I need to hit drops or serious bumps to use full travel. Definitely check the fluid levels.
