I just did an air sleeve maintenance on an older Float (PUSHed AVA).

The seal kit from fox came with a small pillow pack of Float Fluid.

I just assumed I was supposed to use the whole thing. I used a little to lube the seals, and then squirt the rest in the air chamber before closing it up.

I now see that 2cc is what is generally called for, but I did not see any volume indicated on the pack.

Anyone know how much fluid is in one of those packs, and if it’s OK just to use the whole thing?

In the past I’ve used a little bit of synthetic motor oil and just guessed how much to use, and it was always a bit less than this.

Thanks.

The pack is about 5cc, I just put a few drops in the air can before sliding it on then about 1cc in the air chamber. Too much makes a mess, and if its in the negative chamber it will severely impact performance and leak heavily!
