I just ordered a 2006 Float RLC and want to drop it down from 130mm to 100mm. After looking at the online Owners Manual, I'm a little confused. My question is, is this picture correct? Its from the Owners Manual and seems backwards to me. Do I remove the stock spacer to get down to 100mm? For some reason my logic is if I remove the spacer it'll drop the fork down lower. Here's the pic:

That picture is correct. You will need to add a spacer to reduce travel. Your 130mm fork does not have any spacers in it right now. You will need to get a 30mm travel spacer from FOX or a bike store to reduce travel.
