Can anyone tell me what the BSD stands for? Are these the dampers with Belleville style washers above the piston?

Just a weird question I've never seen the answer to and no pictures to be found.

Where have you seen it in reference to? I think it is the Belleville spring shocks but I need a bit more info to jog my memory

Skimming through old parts lists and piston depth charts. Maybe it's just one of those things with a different name internally.

It refers to the Propedal series of shocks with the spring loaded piston but not sure what the letters are for.
