Exactly what I did, works fine. I started at 140 and yes, it had a harsh top-out. When I added my ghetto spacer (10mm sleeve of teflon tubing) it operated at 130 just as it did at 120. The great thing about using the teflon tubing was that I could cut it to any length I wanted, so could have anything between 120 and 140.
Fox F-Series Travel Question: F120 to 130mm
Anyone try adding the 10mm to an F120? I did a search and read it does a harsh top out because of damper length, but what if you set the roll pin at 140 (from 120) and space it down 10mm to protect the damper cartridge. Thoughts?
