Fox C-clip

I just received this Fox 36 Airshaft, it came with a C-clip, but it looks asymmetrical. I have never seen this part before. Is this normal? Thanks

Looks like the one in my 2020 36. The change in curve lets you get a tool under there to pop it out.

Correct. The curve is intentional so it can be removed easily without [tool] damage.
