I've heard the 2012 has a slightly different tune on the RLC cartridge making the initial part of the stroke softer for more small bump compliance but stiffer deeper through the travel for bigger hits and to lessen brake dive. Could be wrong and seems like there is very little real world info out there.

Oh, and the SKF seals of course. My '11 is running with much less stiction with a rebuild and the new seals.
