I have a set of Fox 36 RC2's on my Moment and am having trouble trying to set them up right.I used'to have a Truth with Fox Talas RLC's on and them forks felt so much different to the 36's.My mate has 36 R's on his Moment and they feel so much different to my RC2's aswell i don't know if it's cos of the high and low speed compression or for some other reason.I'm 13 stone 8 fully kitted out and i've been running them with70 psi in the air chamber although the manual reccomends about 75 psi and i have the rebound on the quickest setting but the fork feels pretty dead it's as if when it goes into it's travel it just wants to stay there as if the rebound doesn't work properly type of thingy, but it does work cos if i put about 80 to 90 psi in it they rebound really quickly.
Does anyone else have these forks on their Moment and are a similar weight to me and if so what sort of settings do you have yours at including high and low speed compression settings cos i have'nt got a clue what i'm doing with them:madman:
Cheers

I have a 36 RC2 on my Moment and absolutely love it. I have no idea how much 13 stone 8 is, but I weigh in at about 210 lbs (~ 95 kg) fully loaded. I don't know exactly what my settings are, but I can give you a rough idea. I have 72 psi in the spring. The rebound is roughly 1/3 of the way in from fully open (I like a fast acting fork), the high speed compression is roughly 1/3 of the way in from fully open (again, I like a fast acting fork), and the low speed compression is roughly 1/3 of the way in from fully closed (I like my fork to hold up in the corners).

I ride mostly aggressive/technical singletrack with the occasional freeride (8 foot drops at most). So I'm set up for on trail ripping. I'm sure folks who are set up for more air time will be a bit different. I hope you can get your fork working properly. I love mine. IMHO it is the ideal fork for the Moment. Stiff, plush and light. Yum yum yum.

I weigh 180 -185 (depends on if I bring rain gear). I keep mine set around 55-60#'s. I also have one of the compression do-hickies set to take care of brake dive. And I never use the Talas thing-a-ma-bober. I think I'm gonna repalce it with the '07 Talas that only has 3 settings for length. Also has 6.3 " of travel as apposed to my 5.75. Then again the VAN sounds good too.
