My son is off imminently on a long vacation with his bike. The forks have started to make a bit of a "squishing" noise under compression - is this something to be alarmed about?
We are thinking about doing the oil change maintenance which is definately due - personally I try and minimise work on the bike immediately before a trip, so any advice on whether to (a) ensure it gets done ASAP or (b) hold off and get it done during a suitable gap in the biking schedule?
