I have not seen the destruction yet but on the trail's web page( actaully airborne mtb club's) the fort peirce trail is being vandelized :nono: by some one or ones with a chainsaw. they are removing the technical obsticles. roots log overs and bridges essentially making it a smooth trail. this is bull sh**t :madman: . the trail is fun as hell and does not need to be made easier. I know a lot of deputies and officers ride out there please keep an eye out for some one with a chain saw. thanks

holy freaking crap (very restrained language) that's some horrible news. I read the thread over on airbornemtb.com and if they're talking about the stuff that I'm thinking of then someone took a lot of time and effort to destroy this trail. I'm gonna start carrying my knife out there, I think I could take a guy with a chainsaw.
I was out there last week fro a few laps and the trail was in great shape. I saw that the smaller roots in some tough sections were taken out and thought that the TM crew was trying to make it faster.
